The Town of Magrath; 'The Garden City' is dear to the heart of all Magrath
Lions Club members. Most projects funded by the
Magrath Lions Club directly benefit the local community, e.g. Lions
Park upgrade. Many other projects indirectly benefit our citizens, e.g.
STARS Air Ambulance is in the air due to initial and ongoing funds provided by
Lions Clubs - ever notice the Lions symbol prominently displayed on the side of
the choppers?; Leader and Guide Dogs for the Blind and Impaired are available to
needy persons across North America; 80% of LCIF
humanitarian aid donations donated from our area were returned to our area last
year .. most recently to support efforts fighting the huge fires last summer in
northern Montana.
How can you help?
- Donate your time. We are always looking for volunteers to assist in
implementation of projects and fund-raising programs. Can you flip pancakes in
July? or wield a paintbrush in the Spring? [ Volunteer

- Donate financially. Come and support our fundraising projects or if
you rather, make a direct donation to make the Town of Magrath a better place.
Often we can access additional matching funds to maximize the impact of our
generosity. You just specify the amount you can afford, but we provide
certificates of appreciation when the donation amount is:

The Magrath Lions Park Upgrade Project: We are
looking to upgrade the existing wooden play structure with new
factory-engineered and tested playground components, designed for children
ages 2-5. Additional phases will be implemented as finances permit, subject
to input from the community project committee. |
