Administration: All functions governing the Fire Department
Training: Ensure that all firefighters are properly trained for their duty
Records: Establishing and maintaining records of equipment and personnel
Policy: Establishing, maintaining, and enforcing policy
Inspection: Inspecting all fires and requests by Public
Investigation: Determine cause of all fires within the Magrath jurisdiction
Public Relations: Promoting the Fire department to the Public
Maintenance: Upkeep of building, equipment, and turnout gear
Protocols: Guidelines for action of equipment and personnel
Operations: Specified duties for specified areas
Assignments: Specified duties as per equipment and personnel
Communications: Provide training and document procedures in radio communications. Maintain all radio equipment
Medical: Provide training and document procedures required to assist Medical Personnel as required
Equipment: Inspect equipment and report findings to the Deputy Chief
Rescue: Provide training and document procedures required to assist Extraction Unit Personnel as required
Building: Inspect fire hall building and report findings to the Deputy Chief. Perform regular maintenance
Field Operations: Guide the operations on the fire line under the direction of the Deputy Chief or the Fire Chief
